Payment and Delivery

You can pay for your purchase in the DegDobe online store using:

online payment with available payment cards and other payment solutions;
bank transfer after receiving an invoice.

After placing your order, a purchase confirmation and, where applicable, an invoice containing the payment details will be sent to the email address you provided. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature.

If payment by bank transfer after receipt of an invoice is selected and payment is not received within the specified period, DegDobe reserves the right to cancel the order reservation.

Goods are dispatched or made available for collection only after full payment has been received, unless otherwise individually agreed with the Buyer.

Delivery Options

If the selected Product is in stock, we usually dispatch it within 1–14 business days after receiving payment, excluding weekends, public holidays and previously announced DegDobe closures or holiday periods.

If the Product is made to order, the production and delivery time will be stated in the Product description or agreed individually with the Buyer.

If particularly urgent delivery is required, please inform DegDobe before placing the order or indicate this in the order comments.

During periods of increased order volume, for example before holidays, as well as in the case of custom-made or particularly fragile products, order preparation and dispatch may take longer.

If a significant delay in order fulfilment or delivery is expected, DegDobe will inform the Buyer individually.

The order will be sent to the delivery address or parcel locker selected by the Buyer when placing the order.

As DegDobe products are handmade and some may be large, heavy or particularly fragile, individual delivery arrangements may apply to certain Products.

The delivery price is indicated during checkout or agreed individually depending on the Product’s size, weight, fragility and delivery address.

International delivery outside Latvia is arranged individually. To confirm delivery options and estimated delivery time to your country, please contact DegDobe before placing your order by email at [email protected].

The cost of international delivery is calculated individually and depends on the destination country, the number of items, their total weight, dimensions and fragility, as well as the delivery method available for the particular order. The final international delivery price will be agreed with the Buyer before the order is dispatched.

We offer the following delivery options:

delivery via the parcel locker or courier service available during checkout;
international delivery by individual agreement;
delivery of oversized or particularly fragile items by individual agreement;
collection from the DegDobe studio in Bīriņi, Limbaži Municipality, by prior arrangement — free of charge.

DegDobe is not responsible for delivery delays caused by the selected delivery service provider, insofar as such delays are not caused by DegDobe.

Upon receiving the shipment, please check its external condition. If the packaging shows visible damage or the Product has been damaged during transportation, please photograph the packaging and the Product as soon as possible and contact DegDobe.

Returns

In cases provided for by applicable law, consumers have the right to exercise their right of withdrawal and return the purchased Product within 14 days of receiving it.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must clearly notify DegDobe of their decision to withdraw from the purchase within the 14-day period.

The returned Product must be clean, undamaged and properly packaged. The Buyer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the Product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the Product’s nature, characteristics and functioning.

Given the fragile nature of DegDobe ceramic products, the Buyer must ensure particularly secure and suitable packaging when returning a Product.

To arrange the return or exchange of a Product, please contact DegDobe in advance.

The Product may be:

returned to the DegDobe studio in Bīriņi, Limbaži Municipality, by prior arrangement;
sent using a delivery service agreed in advance with DegDobe to the specified return address.

The direct costs of returning the Product are borne by the Buyer, except where the Product does not conform to the order or applicable law provides otherwise.

DegDobe will refund payments received in accordance with the procedures and within the time limits prescribed by law. DegDobe may withhold the refund until the Product has been returned or the Buyer has provided evidence that it has been sent back.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used by the Buyer for the original transaction unless otherwise expressly agreed with the Buyer.

Order Collection

If the Buyer chooses to collect the order from the DegDobe studio, the order must be collected within 90 days of receiving notification that it is ready.

If the order is not collected within the specified period and the Buyer has not agreed another collection date with DegDobe, DegDobe reserves the right to apply reasonable storage charges or otherwise deal with the order in accordance with the agreement between the parties and applicable law.

Personalised and Custom Orders

Please note that personalised orders and products made according to the Buyer’s individual specifications, in cases provided for by applicable law, cannot be returned or exchanged.

This applies, for example, to products made in a specific size, shape, colour, texture, glaze or other individually agreed finish.

This restriction does not apply where the Product has a manufacturing defect or does not conform to the order agreed with the Buyer.

Accuracy of Information

When providing descriptions of Products available on the DegDobe website, we strive to ensure that the information is as accurate and up to date as possible.

DegDobe products are handmade, and therefore each piece is unique. Slight variations in shape, size, texture, glaze, glass and colour tones may occur between individual products.

Such variations, resulting from handcrafting, the characteristics of the materials used and the firing process, are part of the individual character of each piece and are not, in themselves, considered Product defects.

The actual colour of a Product may differ slightly from the photographs displayed on the website. This may be affected by lighting, photography conditions and the screen settings of the Buyer’s device.
